These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Travel Buddy website, services, content, data, and the Travel Buddy API, including access through RapidAPI or any other approved platform.

By accessing our website, using our services, subscribing to the API, or making API requests, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use Travel Buddy or the Travel Buddy API.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• “Travel Buddy,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Travel Buddy, the provider of the website, services, and API.
• “Website” refers to the Travel Buddy website and any related pages, content, tools, or services.
• “API” refers to the Travel Buddy API, including any endpoints, responses, data, documentation, and related services.

• “API User” refers specifically to developers, businesses, subscribers, or partners using the API directly or through a third-party platform such as RapidAPI.

2. Description of Service

Travel Buddy provides visa requirements, travel-related information, destination information, and related reference data.

The Travel Buddy API provides structured access to travel and visa-related information for use in websites, applications, internal tools, and other approved services.

Travel Buddy collects, reviews, and organizes information from sources that may include:

• and other sources considered reliable.

Some research and data organization may be assisted by artificial intelligence tools and reviewed through editorial processes.

3. Informational Use Only

Visa requirements, entry rules, passport requirements, health requirements, transit rules, travel restrictions, and government policies may change at any time and without notice.

Before making travel decisions, booking travel, applying for visas, boarding transportation, or relying on any travel requirement, users should verify the information with official government sources, embassies, consulates, airlines, border authorities, or other relevant official authorities.

4. Accuracy of Information

API Users are solely responsible for:

• how they access and use the API;
• any data they submit to the API;
• any data they retrieve from the API;
• how they store, process, display, share, or use API responses;
• their own applications, websites, products, or services;
• their own users and customers;
• and any decisions, actions, or services based on API data.

Travel Buddy is not responsible for how API Users use, interpret, store, display, distribute, or rely on API responses.

7. RapidAPI Users

If you access the Travel Buddy API through RapidAPI, your use of the API may also be governed by RapidAPI’s own terms, policies, account rules, billing terms, payment rules, and subscription limits.

Travel Buddy is not responsible for RapidAPI account management, billing, payment processing, subscription handling, refunds, platform availability, or other matters controlled by RapidAPI.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and RapidAPI’s platform rules, RapidAPI’s rules may apply to your use of the RapidAPI platform, while these Terms continue to apply to your use of the Travel Buddy API and data.

8. API Keys and Account Security

API Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their API keys, authentication credentials, accounts, and access tokens.

You agree not to:

• share API keys publicly;
• expose API keys in client-side code, public repositories, or unsecured environments;
• allow unauthorized use of your API credentials;
• attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, usage limits, or subscription restrictions;
• or use another user’s API credentials without authorization.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs using your API credentials.

If you believe your API key or account has been compromised, you should revoke or rotate the key immediately and notify the relevant platform or Travel Buddy where appropriate.

9. API Usage Limits and Availability

API usage may be subject to rate limits, quotas, subscription limits, endpoint restrictions, or technical limitations.

We may monitor API usage for security, abuse prevention, service quality, debugging, analytics, and operational purposes.

We may suspend, limit, throttle, or terminate API access if we believe that use of the API:

• violates these Terms;
• creates security risk;
• causes service disruption;
• exceeds permitted limits;
• abuses or overloads our infrastructure;
• violates RapidAPI rules or applicable laws;
• or may harm Travel Buddy, other users, or third parties.

We do not guarantee that the Website or API will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Caching, Storage, and Redistribution of API Data

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, API Users may use API responses only as reasonably necessary to operate their own application, website, product, or service.

API Users must not:

• resell the API data as a standalone database;
• redistribute bulk API data;
• create a competing travel or visa database using API responses;
• store API data longer than necessary for temporary runtime, caching, performance, or operational purposes;
• present outdated cached data as current;
• or use API data in a misleading or unauthorized way.

If you display API data to End Users, you are responsible for ensuring that the information is presented clearly and with appropriate disclaimers.

You must not represent Travel Buddy API data as guaranteed, official, legally binding, or government-issued advice.

11. User Applications and End Users

If you use the Travel Buddy API in your own application, website, platform, product, or service, you are solely responsible for that implementation and for your relationship with your End Users.

API Users are responsible for:

• providing their own terms of use;
• providing their own privacy policy;
• complying with applicable privacy and data protection laws;
• explaining how API data is used in their own service;
• ensuring that End Users are not misled;
• and ensuring that appropriate disclaimers are shown where travel or visa information is displayed.

Travel Buddy is not responsible for third-party applications, websites, platforms, services, or products that use or display Travel Buddy API data.

12. Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Website or API to:

• violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
• provide false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information;
• impersonate any person, company, authority, or government body;
• misrepresent API data as official government advice;
• make automated decisions that may significantly affect users without proper human review;
• overload, damage, disrupt, or compromise our systems;
• reverse engineer, scrape, extract, copy, or reproduce the API or database except as permitted;
• resell, sublicense, or redistribute API data without permission;
• create a competing database or service using Travel Buddy data;

Travel Buddy does not control third-party sources and is not responsible for:

• unavailable third-party websites;
• or decisions made by government officials, airlines, border agents, embassies, consulates, or other authorities.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Website and API may involve the processing of limited account, contact, technical, and usage information.

The Travel Buddy API is designed to provide reference information only. It does not require API Users to submit personal travel records, passport numbers, visa documents, identity documents, or traveler profiles.

API Users are responsible for ensuring that their own applications, websites, and services comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

15. Intellectual Property

The Website, API, documentation, database structure, branding, logos, text, design, software, and related materials are owned by Travel Buddy or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms and your subscription or access rights, Travel Buddy grants API Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the API for permitted purposes.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

You may not copy, modify, reproduce, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Website, API, documentation, or data except as expressly permitted by these Terms or agreed in writing.

16. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, corrections, ideas, bug reports, or feedback to Travel Buddy, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

We may use feedback to improve the Website, API, data quality, documentation, features, or services.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website, API, data, documentation, and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel Buddy disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of:

• uninterrupted operation;

• or the Website, API, servers, or systems will be free from viruses or harmful components.

18. Limitation of Liability

• travel disruption, denied boarding, denied entry, visa refusal, deportation, fines, penalties, missed flights, lost bookings, or related losses;

• RapidAPI platform issues;
• unauthorized access to API keys or accounts;
• or any third-party application, website, service, or product using Travel Buddy data.

This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or any other legal theory, even if Travel Buddy has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

19. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Travel Buddy, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, partners, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:

• your use of the Website or API;
• your application, website, product, or service;
• your use, display, storage, processing, or redistribution of API data;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of applicable laws or regulations;
• your violation of third-party rights;
• your relationship with your End Users;
• or any claim that your use of the API caused harm to another person or entity.

20. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Website or API at any time if we believe that:

• you violated applicable laws;
• you violated RapidAPI rules or subscription limits;
• your use creates risk, harm, abuse, or disruption;
• your API credentials are compromised;
• or continued access may expose Travel Buddy, users, partners, or third parties to liability or security risk.

Upon termination, your right to access and use the API will immediately stop.

Sections intended to survive termination, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and restrictions on data use, will continue to apply.

21. Changes to the Website, API, or Data

Travel Buddy may update, modify, improve, remove, replace, or discontinue any part of the Website, API, data, documentation, endpoints, features, or services at any time.

We may add, remove, or change API endpoints, parameters, response formats, supported countries, data fields, pricing, plans, or access rules.

We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Website, API, or data.
